Community Leadership Development
Overview
Community Leadership Development provides an introduction to leadership and examines leadership theory and organizational behavior. It emphasizes leadership procedures and functions with regard to the community college experience. All students interested in learning and experiencing leadership, especially those comfortable with both oral and written communication, are encouraged to enroll.

This is an Independent Studies course that involves an individual student or small group of students in study, research, or activities beyond the scope of regular offered courses, pursuant to an agreement among the college, faculty member, and student(s). An application for
Independent Studies must be filed before the end of the eighth week of the semester in which the study is to be completed. If the study is not completed by the end of the semester, a new application is not required if the unit(s) are to be granted in a subsequent semester. This course is graded as Pass/No Pass.
