Mock Trial Club

Mock Trial is a club that surrounds the law field and the simulated court competition. SCC's Mock Trial will not be competing, like most other collegiate mock trial teams, but instead will be a collaborative space to learn the basic skills and expertise of the competition (e.g writing cross/direct examinations, opening/closing statements, public speaking). The president wants to utilize her knowledge and skills acquired during her previous participation of the mock trial team at SCC, to help those who are interested in joining a mock trial team when they transfer, become a lawyer, or want to gain the beneficial skills and experiences, they have this club the help them develop the basic skills needed.
