Honors Club

Club purpose: The purpose of the SCC Honors Club is to honor and celebrate student achievement at Sacramento City College by recognizing students who demonstrate academic success, leadership, and intellectual vitality from the college’s official honors program. We aim to foster a culture of rigorous scholarship by providing opportunities for students to engage in research opportunities, critical thinking, and academic excellence. The club supports our student leaders by offering a platform for personal and professional growth, encouraging collaboration, and peer engagement. Through a commitment to academic rigor, integrity, and intellectual discovery, we strive to prepare members for future success, equipping them with the skills, resources, and networks needed to excel in their academic careers and beyond. Ultimately, the SCC Honors Club aims to cultivate a dynamic, inclusive community that empowers students to pursue excellence and contribute meaningfully to the academic and research community of the college.
