Indigenous Peoples Club

Club Purpose: To create a safe space for Indigenous students and others to discuss and learn through each other about decolonized history, stories, news, and community events. Another goal of the club will be to hopefully educate other students on campus (that are not a part of the community) to be more aware about the truth of the Indigenous peoples perspective of our history rather than the racist colonizer myths that continue to plague hateful, ignorant narratives about our ancestors. There will be a meeting once a month and each meeting will be about different topics and include engaging activities to try and create some bonding between students.
