The purpose of the Pre-Law Society is to support and enrich the academic and professional development of students interested in law, public service, and related fields.

The goals of the organization are to promote intellectual engagement in legal studies, public policy, and justice-oriented work; provide opportunities for students to build foundational skills relevant to law school and legal careers. Facilitate workshops, speaker events, and activities that introduce members to legal professions, transfer preparation, and academic advancement; offer space for collaborative exploration of case studies, appellate-style discussions, pre-law research, and introductory mock-trial-based exercises; and cultivate a respectful, academically focused community that encourages leadership, critical inquiry, and personal growth. The Pre-Law Society seeks to empower students to engage meaningfully with legal and civic scholarship and to prepare for future academic and professional pathways.
