Yes, you can take the ESL assessment to meet the English proficiency requirement for admission.
I am applying from overseas.
No, you cannot take the ESL assessment to meet the English proficiency requirement for admission. See International Student Admissions for the applicable tests (under Application Requirements).
Watch the Register at SCC process video or follow the steps below:
- Go to Get Started and Apply
- Answer the “I am…” question to get information about your status.
- Click on, and complete the Online application
- Congratulations! You now are an SCC student!
- Now, take your assessment test. After you register and have a W-ID (w1234567, for example), email ESL Professor Brett Thomas and ask to take the assessment test: ThomasB@scc.losrios.edu
