California State University (CSU) Dual Admission

The California State University (CSU) Dual Admission program is called Transfer Success Pathway (TSP). The TSP guarantees future CSU admission to recent high school graduates entering a California community college who are committed to transferring within three years.

This program gives students clearer direction and greater confidence on their path to a four-year degree. Students can use a CSU Transfer Planner to plan for transfer to the CSU.

Eligibility

You are eligible for the TSP program if you are enrolling in a California Community College and have not earned any college credit since completing high school or earning a GED.

1. If you are taking college courses in the summer immediately following your high school graduation, you’re still eligible for TSP.
2. If you have taken dual enrollment coursework while in high school, you’re still eligible for TSP.

TSP Benefits

CSU TSP applicants will:

1. Enter into an agreement with the CSU and receive guaranteed admission to the degree program and campus of your choice. Please note:
   • You must meet all TSP requirements within three years.
   • Available degree programs vary by each CSU.
2. Receive personalized guidance from CSU representatives to create an educational plan that will help you transfer in three years or less.
3. Map out your coursework using the CSU Transfer Planner portal.

How To Enroll

Agreement Cycle: August 1 through October 31

Be sure that you have a TSP-eligible program on your My Programs page.

1. Log in to CSU Transfer Planner or create an account.
2. From the dashboard, click the Enroll in TSP button in the Transfer Success Pathway Status tile. Alternatively, click My Interests in the upper-right of the dashboard, and under the My Programs tab, click Enroll for your desired program.
3. Select your desired CSU university and program and review the transfer requirements.
4. Click Next Step.
5. Select your primary California community college. If necessary, you can edit your existing community colleges or add a new one.
6. Click Next Step.
7. Select your agreement start date. You must transfer within three years of this date to your selected CSU and program.
8. Click Complete Enrollment Agreement.
9. Review your TSP selections, then click Submit Agreement.
