Secretary of Public Relations
Job description for the Secretary of Public Relations office of the Clubs and Events Board.
- Create, share, and update the social media postings timeline.
- Organize and supervise all public relations for the Clubs & Events Board.
- Co-chair (with the Student Senate Secretary of Public Relations) the Public Relations Committee that will be responsible for overseeing all fundraising activities and endeavors for the Student Associated Council.
- Responsible for advertising all Clubs & Events Board functions and meetings.
- Oversee publications funded by the Clubs & Events Board.
- Collaborate with the Student Senate Secretary of Public Relations in order to provide monthly press releases to the student run newspaper.
- Create, assist in creating, or provide helpful input to board members that choose to create their own publications.
- Keep record of all contacts and resources for the Clubs & Events Board.
- Approve and post all fliers, banners, social media posts, and any mass publication produced for advertisement for the Clubs & Events Board prior to being posted, sent, or distributed. In the absence or vacancy of Secretary of Public Relations, the President and Vice President are authorized to approve any and all publications. Also, once the Secretary of Public Relations has approved the material(s) for disbursement the President and
- Advisor must provide final authorization.
- Serve as co-chair on the Elections Committee, chaired by the Secretary of Equity and Diversity, and includes the Student Senate Secretary of Public Relations.
