Math/Stats Tutoring Lab
The Math/Stats Tutoring Lab is here to support and guide you when you need a boost in your math or stats class.
How to Enroll
To enroll for Fall 2025, please first add a free, zero-credit course to your schedule.
This is the Math/Stats Tuoring Lab tutoring course:
- HSER 1000 Supervised Tutoring,
Section 16653
Instructor Halsey J. Boyd
You can stop in or set up a Zoom session if you need help adding this course to your schedule.
It also helps us if you submit the Math-Stats Lab Fall 2025 Intake Form. This provides us with information that allows us to help serve you best.
Our Services
Beyond accessing tutoring online or in-person to help you, we also have a safe space for you to:
- sit and study alone or with friends
- ask questions on navigating campus that we will either know or find somebody who does
- have basic needs met - we partner with Panther Cares to distribute food to students when available
- use the lab’s computers for assignments (we also support students that need to do TeachMe videos)
- meet with the lab’s coordinator, Halsey, for a tour of campus areas that will help you find community and be successful in your
- academic journey, and do a general map of how to optimize your schedule for math success
We are inclusive of all students, and strive to have an intersectional perspective.
