Math/Stats Tutoring Lab

Home Student Resources Math/Stats Tutoring Lab

The Math/Stats Tutoring Lab is here to support and guide you when you need a boost in your math or stats class.

How to Enroll

To enroll for Fall 2025, please first add a free, zero-credit course to your schedule.

This is the Math/Stats Tuoring Lab tutoring course:

  • HSER 1000 Supervised Tutoring,
    Section 16653
    Instructor Halsey J. Boyd

You can stop in or set up a Zoom session if you need help adding this course to your schedule.

It also helps us if you submit the Math-Stats Lab Fall 2025 Intake Form. This provides us with information that allows us to help serve you best.

Our Services

Beyond accessing tutoring online or in-person to help you, we also have a safe space for you to:

  • sit and study alone or with friends
  • ask questions on navigating campus that we will either know or find somebody who does
  • have basic needs met - we partner with Panther Cares to distribute food to students when available
  • use the lab’s computers for assignments (we also support students that need to do TeachMe videos)
  • meet with the lab’s coordinator, Halsey, for a tour of campus areas that will help you find community and be successful in your
  • academic journey, and do a general map of how to optimize your schedule for math success

We are inclusive of all students, and strive to have an intersectional perspective.

About Our Space

We are located in Learning Resource Center, LRC- 144.  Go through the entrance to the LRC and we are through the glass doors just past and to the right of the welcome desk.
