Math/Stats Tutoring Lab

The Math/Stats Tutoring Lab is here to support and guide you when you need a boost in your math or stats class.

To enroll for Summer 2025, we ask you to fill in our Math-Stats Lab Summer 2025 Intake Form.  Once you fill in this online form, come in and join us for drop-in tutoring sessions. You can also check for online appointments. If for some reason you were not able to fill in the form, you can fill it in once you drop in.

We are located in Learning Resource Center, LRC- 144.  Go through the entrance to the LRC and we are through the glass doors just past and to the right of the welcome desk.

Beyond accessing tutoring online or in-person to help you, we also have a safe space for you to:

• sit and study alone or with friends
• ask questions on navigating campus that we will either know or find somebody who does
• have basic needs met - we partner with Panther Cares to distribute food to students when available
• use the lab’s computers for assignments (we also support students that need to do TeachMe videos)
• meet with the lab’s coordinator, Halsey, for a tour of campus areas that will help you find community and be successful in your academic journey, and do a general map of how to optimize your schedule for math success

We are inclusive of all students, and strive to have an intersectional perspective. We share the space and collaborate with other tutoring centers such as The Writing Center (help with any writing tasks), the CIS Lab (for computer and information science mentoring) and the TLC (general tutoring in areas such as anatomy, ASL, chemistry, biology, Spanish and more).
