Join CalWORKs

CalWORKs (California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids) is a statewide public assistance program that provides cash aid and services to eligible families that have a child or children in the home.

Step 1

CalWORKs Aid Verification Form

Our Verification of Case Aid/Program Aid Verification Form must be:

1. completed by your County DHA representative
2. submitted to our CalWORKs office by email or in person

Step 2

Application and Consent Forms

Once your CalWORKs Program Aid Verification Form is received we will email you the following forms to complete:

• Online Application/Orientation
• Student Consent for Release of Student Records

Step 3

Intake Session

Once you have completed your Online Application/Orientation and Student Consent for Release of Student Records (Step 2), our CalWORKs Staff will contact you to meet with a CalWORKs Counselor.

Step 4

Meet with a CalWORKs Counselor

CalWORKs Staff will schedule an appointment for you to meet With a CalWORKs Counselor.
