Our intention is to build a bridge that allows a smooth transition for Black students to receive and become aware of the resources both on and off campus. We understand that for students within the African diaspora these resources may seem hidden or discouraging to be a part of.

We hear you and are here to help.

Support Services Offered

• Assist black students in connecting directly with counselors who can relate to their particular circumstances.
• Provide information and assistance with the available scholarships and grants to SCC Black students.
• Connect Black students directly to all available supportive academic services.
• Inform SCC's Black students of health services available to students, both on and off campus:
  • Physical health
  • Mental health
  • Dental health
  • and more
• Assist in eliminating food insecurities and financial deficiencies within the Black community.
• Introduce Black students to communities and support systems that will benefit their educational journey and uplift their spirits!
