Home Student Resources Black Student Success

Sacramento City College (SCC) is laser-focused on Black student success to support their higher education journey.

Our goal is to:

  • ensure successful onboarding of new first-time students
  • improve retention and persistence patterns
  • close the institutional gaps in completion
  • make sure our students know that we care, Black Student Lives Matter to all of us, and we are committed to their journey and success

With that in mind, this site provides all things concerning Black students at SCC and the intentional efforts we are putting forth.
