2026 Commencement Ceremony
Please join us in celebrating Sacramento City College's Class of 2026 in-person, outdoor graduation ceremony on:

All Summer and Fall 2025 graduates and Spring 2026 candidates will receive an email on approximately Monday, April 7 through Monday, April 14, 2026, with more information and a link to RSVP for Commencement.

from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
General Information
This celebration is for the class of 2025 who have petitioned to graduate with an Associate’s degree from SCC. Only Summer 2024 and Fall 2024 graduates and prospective Spring 2025 candidates (who have petitioned for an associate degree by the March 7, 2025 deadline) will be allowed to RSVP and attend the event.
A camp and gown is required for participation.
You can purchase all graduation material at the SCC Bookstore.
Extra caps, gowns, and tassels will not be available at the ceremony. You must have your regalia when you check-in for the ceremony.
No. There will be no sales of any kind on the day of the celebration. Graduates wishing to purchase regalia prior to the celebration may do so at the SCC Bookstore.
No. Guests are not allowed in the graduate area.
Participating students who need specific accommodations should indicate this on the RSVP form, and someone may reach out to you to discuss your accommodations.
Yes! You can decorate your cap. Please adhere to the student code of conduct when decorating your cap, but have fun! Please note, your graduation gown should not be decorated.
