Celebrate City! An Open House at Sacramento City College

Celebrate Sacramento City College with us in April! We have three great events coming up, starting with our Open House kick-off event on Friday, April 14! Other events planned for April include our Student Empowerment Conference, Friday, April 21, and Earth Day on the Green, Thursday, April 27. These events are open to the community!

Celebrate City! Open House

Friday, April 14, 2023
4:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Come for our great food vendors, music, and entertainment at our community open house! We will be showcasing our incredible classes, programs, clubs, student talent, and more. Parking will be free. We also will have free bike valet parking provided by our friends at Sacramento Area Bike Advocates, so please consider biking to the event if feasible.

Student Empowerment Conference

April 21, 2023
8:00 am to 3:00 pm

Join us for a time filled with resources and community. This is an opportunity for students to find a job or internship at the Job Fair, meet with college representatives at the Transfer Fair, connect with tech professionals at the Career Technical Education Fair, and network all around. Free food, free entertainment, and lots of workshops.

Earth Day on the Green

April 27, 2023
11:00 am to 3:00 pm

Earth Day focuses on sustainability and the repair of the planet and society. Relax and enjoy an afternoon on the Quad learning about the environment, listening to great music, and eating together.
