Mock Trial Club

Mock Trial will strive to be a forum for students interested in legal studies to explore the field and network with other prospective legal students. For students willing to commit to extended hours studying research and litigation, we will present a case written by the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA), which they will use to develop an argument they’ll bring to regional competitions. These competitions will develop skills frequently used by lawyers, including, but not limited to reading comprehension, public speaking, and adherence to courtroom customs. Those not willing to commit to competition can still be active members of the club by participating in our non-practice/general meetings and events.
