A Celebration of Words: Poetry Reading with President Dr. Albert Garcia & the SCC Community

Join Sacramento City College President Dr. Albert Garcia and members of our campus community for a poetry reading in the heart of campus. Dr. Garcia — an accomplished poet and English professor — will be joined by fellow faculty and students sharing their own work in a gathering that reflects the spirit of Celebrate City: the creativity, voice, and humanity that makes SCC extraordinary. Come listen, be moved, and celebrate the writers among us. All are welcome. Arrive early — seating is limited.

Panthers Baseball—Alumni Homecoming

This is more than a baseball game — it is a homecoming. We are hosting a dedicated alumni reception at the diamond, bringing together the players who built this program and the roster carrying it forward. Come meet the current team, reconnect with fellow alumni, and take your seat in the stands where it all happened.

Arrive by 4:45 PM for a special pre-game ceremony honoring the history of SCC baseball. Special thanks to SCC alumnus Domonique Rodgers and Family First Life Golden State for sponsoring this year's alumni mixer and reception. Food will be provided for baseball alumni and supporters.
