eServices "Tasks"
Instructions and/or PDF links to required Financial Aid form(s) are listed in your personal eServices portal (see Tasks). Some links above are not available until the form can be accepted by the Office of Financial Aid.
Since not every student is selected for the verification process, some students may not have any Tasks in their eServices portal.

Acceptable Forms of Documentation
Submit to the Financial Aid Office
Submit your documentation directly to the Financial Aid Office.
Choose one of the following:
- Copy of high school diploma
- Copy of high school transcript with graduation date, seal, and signed by school official
- Copy of GED diploma with passing test results attached
- Copy of certificate or passing test results from:
- California High School Proficiency Exam (CHSPE) Certificate of Proficiency
- Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC)
- The High School Equivalency Test (HiSET)
- For California home school students: provide an affidavit from the year the student graduated and certification from the school district that the student has a valid high school diploma (in the form of a home school transcript)
- For international students: provide a copy of a foreign high school diploma/transcript or secondary school leaving certificate from the foreign high school, the Ministry of Education. Alternatively, contact the United States embassy in the country you traveled from or that country’s consulate in the United States.
Citizenship status: contact the Financial Aid Office if you are a victim of human trafficking, refugee, or asylum-seeker, and you cannot obtain a copy of your high school diploma.
For veterans only: You may submit a copy of DD Form 214 Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty to verify your high school completion if it indicates that you are a high school graduate or equivalent.
Submit to Admissions and Records
Submit the following directly to the Admissions and Records Office.
- Official sealed high school transcript
- Official sealed GED test results
Per institutional requirements, only officially sealed high school transcripts are accepted to update your educational level (from GED to high school graduate or high school to GED).
Orphan
- Definition: You had no living parent (biological or adoptive) at any time since you turned age 13, even if you are now adopted.
- Required documentation: Death certificates for both parents.
Foster Care
- Definition: You are or were in foster care at any time since you turned age 13, even if you are no longer in foster care as of today.
- Required documentation: Legal documentation from your state of residency.
Dependent/Ward of the Court
- Definition: You are or were a dependent or ward of the court at any time since you turned age 13, even if you are no longer a dependent or ward of the court as of today.
- Required documentation: Court orders and/or records.
