Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Details
Application Update
The Occupational Therapy Assistant program has two application periods each year. Applications are accepted:
Fall 2025 application dates:
- opens 12:00 am August 15, 2025
- closes 11:59 pm October 1, 2025
Spring 2026 Application dates:
- opens 12:00 am February 15, 2025
- closes11:59 pm April 1
A list of qualified new applicants will be randomized and entered into the next available enrollment year on the waitlist. Applicants will be notified about their enrollment status and year approximately six weeks after the close of each application period.
A new cohort is enrolled once per year each January.
Information Sessions
Start your journey to an Occupational Therapy Assistant degree by attending an information meeting. The information meetings for the 2025–2026 school year will be conducted via Zoom.
Request to Attend Form
Prospective students need to fill out the Request to Attend an Informational Meeting to get an access code for the meeting. Please complete the form by 5:00 pm one day prior to the meeting in order to receive an email with the access code for the meeting.
Students will learn about:
- program prerequisites
- the enrollment process
- required academic and clinical coursework
- the licensing process
- the employment outlook for OTAs
