Attend an Information Session

Start your journey by attending an information meeting. The information meeting for the 2025 - 2026 school year will be conducted via Zoom meeting.

Request to Attend Form

Prospective students need to fill out the Request to Attend an Informational Meeting to get an access code for the meeting. Please complete the form by 5:00 pm one day prior to the meeting in order to receive an email with the access code for the meeting.

Students will learn about:

• program prerequisites
• the enrollment process
• required academic and clinical coursework
• the employment outlook for Community Healthcare Workers

Although not required, video login is preferred to help you follow the meeting topics more easily.

Request to Attend an Informational Meeting

Steps to Apply to CHW

1. Apply to SCC. Apply to Sacramento City College and obtain a student W-ID#.
2. Review the CHW certificate requirements.
3. Course Substitutions. Submit a Course Substitution Petition for any classes taken outside the Los Rios Community College District that you feel satisfy a CHW certificate requirement.
4. Apply to CHW. Complete the Community Health Care Worker Application.
