Students achieving a Chemical Tech Level 1 Certificate will be able to apply basic chemistry principles and laboratory skills needed to safely work in a commercial chemical lab with direct supervision.
The program sequence below is for Pathway 1 of the Beginning Chemical Technician (Level 1) Certificate. Pathway 1 is designed for students who aren’t going to pursue an AS degree in chemistry or plan to transfer to a 4-year college/university.
