The Mechanical-Electrical Technology (MET) Program at Sacramento City College is celebrating 75 years of educating and preparing the skilled workforce that keeps industries running.
As we mark this important milestone, we invite former students, graduates, instructors, staff, and friends of the program to reconnect and help us celebrate the history and impact of MET. The program has been known over the years as Mechanical-Electrical Technology (MET), Stationary Engineering, and HVAC/R, and has touched the lives of generations of students and industry professionals.
Whether you completed the program, earned a certificate, or simply took a few classes, you are an important part of the MET story. We encourage alumni and friends to share memories, photographs, career experiences, and updates on where life has taken them. Your stories will help preserve the legacy of the program and inspire future generations of students.
As we honor 75 years of excellence, innovation, and workforce development, we look forward to reconnecting with the people who helped shape the MET community. We invite you to stay connected, share your story, and be part of this special celebration.
