(SCC) Transfer Prep Program (Caminos and Transfer Center)

The Summer Transfer Prep Program is a free program designed to help students prepare to transfer to a CSU or UC, to be transfer-ready by Fall 2027.

The program includes three required in-person workshops at Sacramento City College. It also offers continued support through Spring 2027 with both virtual and in-person options.

Participants will receive:

• guidance on applications
• guidance on major and career exploration
• guidance on transfer requirements
• ongoing support throughout their journey

Breakfast and lunch are provided each day.

The event registration deadline is July 30, 2026.

This will be a three-day event:

• August 10 to August 12, 2026
• 9:00 am to 1:30 pm
• Set-up time: 8:00 am
• Cleanup: 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm
• Location at SCC to be determined

The Summer Transfer Prep Program is designed to help SCC students successfully navigate the transfer process to CSU and UC campuses. Through engaging workshops and ongoing support, students gain guidance on applications, major and career exploration, and key transfer requirements. The program will provide practical tools, resources, and a supportive community to help students feel confident and prepared for their next academic step. This event is open to students at various stages of their transfer journey and is a great way to help students stay informed, motivated, and on track toward a 4-year university.
