About AANHPI Heritage Month
AANHPI Heritage Month, typically celebrated in May, honors the history, culture, and contributions of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders in the U.S. Los Rios celebrates in April due to the shorter academic calendar in May.
This year's theme, Power in Unity: Strengthening Communities Together, highlights the strength, resilience, and vibrant cultural traditions that bring the AANHPI communities together. It's a time to reflect on achievements, share stories, and foster unity while addressing past and present challenges.
Join us for a month of cultural events, discussions, and storytelling as we continue to embrace and uplift the AANHPI community!
