Have you ever watched sports on live TV and thought about what goes into it all? Take an NFL game for example: there are a bunch of camera angles for every little detail, there's graphics showing stats and scores, there's slow-mo instant replay, and a whole load of technical equipment and personnel behind the scenes. With Sac State Athletics, you can gain hands on experience with everything you have to do with live sports broadcasting.
Sac State has Division I athletics, which is the highest division of the NCAA. Baseball, Softball, and Basketball games are all streamed world-wide to ESPN+. That's where you come in! It takes a herculean effort to put together a top-notch sports show, and you can be a part of the team.
In this internship you can learn:
- Broadcast Engineering
- Camera Operation
- Graphic Operation
- Replay Operation
- Directing
In our information session, we will cover what each of these positions do and answer any questions you may have about them.
Sports broadcasting is a high-energy environment, where teamwork and focus are key to a great show. In becoming comfortable in such an environment, students can expect to become competent and proactive workers in any type of production setting
Open to all Los Rios students. Hosted by CRC's WEXP program.
