Beyond the Stadium is a photographic portrait project highlighting the vitality and character of local competitive master runners.
Using traditional film photography and a medium-format camera, the work slows the photographic process to create intimate portraits made in studio, on campus, and at public running events throughout Sacramento.
Developed with support from Sacramento City College and the local running community, the project reflects endurance, collaboration, and the shared belief that we are capable of more—both in running and in life.
