Looking to cultivate your pedagogy and curriculum's impact?
Interested in furthering the activation of student voice and the use of frameworks that can sustain goals of equity and anti-racism?
This workshop will look at the impact that exists when campuses tap into the richness of their surrounding communities and community organizations.
More specifically, this session will be led by both a campus and community voice to share their stories of how the intentional work of campus advocates and community pillars work to engage community culture, advocates, and frameworks that empower the community and offer various tools and resources for faculty, admin, and staff.
Both speakers will facilitate this workshop through the lens of Hip-Hop culture and Hip-Hop Ed.
This workshop is a part of the ongoing 50 years of Hip-Hop celebrations happening on campus and in our community.
